FAQs
Length is measured from the middle of the fixing hole (where it attaches) to the end of the loop when pinched together.
Loops have around 10-15% stretch in them
The most common way is to drill out the fixing. Use a drill bit that is equal, or slightly less than the size of the fixing hole.
When adding or replacing loops on a tonneau, you'll need hard surface (like a block of timber) and a hammer. Place the eyelet through the underside of the cover in the position that you need the loop, and through the loop on top. You may need to make a small hole in the cover if you’re not using an existing hole. Place the rivet over a hard surface (like a block of timber) so you don’t damage the vehicle/underside of the loop location. Insert the punch into the top of the rivet, then hit the punch with a hammer 1-2 times so the top of the rivet rolls out to lock in the loop.
