How to measure bungee loops?

Length is measured from the middle of the fixing hole to the top of the loop when pinched together. Loops have around 10-15% stretch in them.

The most common way is to drill out the fixing. Use a drill bit that is equal, or slightly less than the size of the fixing hole.

When replacing loops on a tonneau, you'll need hard surface and a hammer. Assemble the eyelet through the underside of the cover, and through the loop on top. Insert the punch into the top of the rivet and place over the hard surface. Then hit the punch with a hammer 1-2 times.
